Poipu Sands in Kauai's Poipu Kai Resort

Poipu Sands is ideally located within Kauai's south shore Poipu Kai
resort for ready access to Shipwreck Beach via a meandering walkway
through it's landscaped grounds. It's considered a top-end resort
and features what is perhaps the nicest pool in all of Poipu Kai,
its own tennis courts, access to the Poipu Kai pool & tennis facilities,
and sweeping views of the ocean waves rolling onto the Shipwreck Beach.
An expansive green area with tropical landscaping provides a large open
space to facilitate natural air conditioning, our tropical trade winds. Poipu Sands has 72 units in 6 buildings, each 3 stories tall, on 7.2 acres of choice land bordering the luxurious Grand Hyatt Hotel with ocean views and easy beach access. Building 5 is closest to the beach and its orientation provides a head-on view of the ocean. Historically this has been the building most in demand and with the highest prices. Building 1 is the furthest from the ocean but has nice distant views as well. Poipu Sands was built in 1979. Unit sizes range from 956 square feet of living space with 1 bedroom & 1.5 baths to 1772 square feet with 3 bedrooms & 3 baths. Most common is 1353 square feet with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths.
